Standard Bundles & Price Ranges
Included are three examples of standard orthopedic bundles from various direct-pay marketplaces. The bundles are defined as Day of Surgery, which include the facility (with implants), physician and anesthesia components. The pricing included are national averages and intended to simply provide visibility into what pricing could look like for each bundled procedure. Use the “Bundled Pricing Builder” to help establish rates specific to your group.

The OVN is excited to provide our members with the below Bundled Pricing Calculator. This is an excellent tool to help your group easily establish your day of surgery bundled pricing.
Instructions:
- Blue cells along the top can be manipulated
- Select your Facility and Physician Locality Modifier
- Adjust your desired percentage of Medicare reimbursement (facility and physician)
- Adjust Anesthesia $/unit
- Rates will automatically populate with the correct reimbursement amounts
- Column R “Provider Price” = your day of surgery bundled price
